I had mine done at 63k and nows its back at 103k and im outside my powertrain warranty.. waiting on lexus to call me back.

I hear it ever time I cold start my car ....what do you all sudject. I think if I take it to LExus they will trun me away becuase the only time I hear it is when the car has not been driven in several hours? I hear it every morning....please help out guys

Will it cost me out of pocket??

It happened to me too. They apparently fixed it but it came back a few weeks later. I'm gonna take it in again so that they can fix it properly. It's annoying when I hear it during cold starts.

Have you ever had it done? They usually replace just the intake cam gears,...but last time I went in they replaced all four. In Canada probably about CAD$900.00 for all four gears,...not including labour. Looks like a four hour job if you 're taking your time.
