Power Window passenger side sound weird
well i installed my ddm hid kit on my car yesterday and of course removed the neg on the battery and reseted all the functions on the car that i have it on. so while setting up the windows i noticed that my passenger side would sound smooth going down but kind of "clicky" going back up? i dont know why i never noticed this before maybe cuz i always run with my ac on or just the sunroof open. has anyone have had this issue or know what it could be??

Mine has the same issue. I installed DDM tuning lights as well. It did it even before the lights. I took it to Lexus and they cleaned the sill..........which i could of done, not a big deal.........but it was still there. They said that its norma for it to have that noise. I am gradually figuring out that these cars are janky.........just get used to the weird noises and stuff.........they wont go away. ever.

i just realized i didnt anser your question.............as far as "what could it be"............its just the sound of the motor in the door thats rolling it up. Pretty easy. It just has an annoying buzz sound and as it get older, like anything, its going to get louder and louder.

@ silvicious, thanks for the reply, i just got the car last week and i guess i really didnt notice it until last nite. i have warranty on the vechicle and so im wondering if spending $300 on the deductible to get a replacement is justifyable to replace it or wait till the motor really craps out and then replace haha

you know..........i think that call is up to you man. i mean personally i was worried about it like you were. Then i took my car in for the carbon build up TSB and they gave me an is250 loaner......and sure enough it had the same sound, no joke. So, i dont think its just your car. I have the same noise. Me personally, i would wait. no use in dropping money like that. Its going to be a while before that motor craps out........plus, 300.00 is a lot of beer money. hahaha

ya i guess as long as it works and i drone out the sound by playing music louder ill soon forget its there lol, but probably not! hahahah. thanks again guys, ya just called to see how much dealers charge for a window regulator and install and all that, they said about close to $600 i was like wtf????
