Any1 else recieve used 2012 headlight from Sewell?
We just received another headlight in exchange for the original brand new one that would not come on. LED and parking light worked but not the headlight. Bulb was good and power was getting to it but no headlight. Well now we receive one that has clearly been in a car before. It still has bugs on the headlight and rings where the bolts were bolted in, water spots, etc. The original headlight that wont come on was flawless, brand new as was the passenger side I still have that does work fine. This one looks "good" I guess but for near 2000 dollars, BRAND NEW is what one would expect. Im kind of wondering if he meant for me to exchange the ballast, etc to the new one or what. To add... The box was literally ripped apart on both sides when i received it. I could see the headlight in the box before the lady at the FED EX place picked it up and put it on the counter. Other customers couldnt believe the shape it was in, especially after explaining the 1700 price tag! I am impressed with the quick turn around as far as getting me another headlight to replace the one that was defective. There were few questions asked after explaining the 4-5 different ways I narrowed problem down to headlight itself. As long as the light works as it should, I will keep the light. I cleaned it up and it looks alot better but the fact that I received a "used" headlight" has me wondering why its not in a car. Was it shipped back because of issues and is refurbished or what?

Yeah, Darrell was who I talked to on the phone. Nice guy and all. Im not at the shop to compare to the other so explain to me what the "brow" is. Ive only been part of the Lexus community for about 2-3 weeks so Im learning.

I agree. I dont want to seem like a pain in the *** or anything. Just a little concerned with why it was put in a car but pulled out, ya know. People that do this mod tend to keep it unless something was wrong with it. I havent sent the other back yet, as i was waiting to receive this one. I f both got sent back, that would be waiting on my 3rd headlight. Again, im not wantin to seem like a pain in the *** but still, it was clearly used, not to mention the hell it went thru with shipping by the looks of that box.
