I purchased a CPO 2008 IS250 in June and sometime in July they covered the Aux TSIB under warranty.
Where you still under the 4 year/50k warranty though?
From what I've seen, its not covered outside of that warranty...but a few dealers have done it out of goodwill to the customer even outside the warranty.

I guess you can email the dealers around you and ask them if they are willing to do the tsb's out of goodwill...
i have my squeaky seats and vibrate rear view mirrors done by asking another dealer which they are willing to fix it for me

It was outside the 4 years as it was originally sold in February or 2008
Most likely he gets ignition or alternator noise in the audio when his music player is plugged into the cigarette lighter or power port. The TSIB adds a ground loop isolator to the circuit to prevent this from happening.

Oh really, I think I had some sort of static originally when I tired to hook my Ipod to the aux port. I though it was just the cheap aux cable I was using, so I just bought some monster aux cable. It seem to fix it, I have no more static noise.
the static only happens if you are charging and are hooked up to AUX at the same time. Dosent matter what cable you use in the end they are all the same the more expensive cables simply offer more insulation to avoid interference but for an application such as this it would be rather useless. Try using your monster cable and charging you iphod/iphone at the same time using the cig lighter while driving.
Yeah pre-TSIB if you use the aux and also are charging the phone at the same time, you get a very annoying static sound that increases as you drive faster.

The trick to fixing it yourself (if you aren't able to get Lexus to cover the cost of the TSIB) is to add an outboard isolator like this one:
Thanks for the responses guys. I'll give my dealer a call and see if they will honor this one for me. My factory warranty ran out in July and i didnt start using the AUX port until a few weeks ago so I didnt even think to check it.
