Beside that small drawback, I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Wanted to revive this thread since i'm going to be doing this next month. My F-sport bumper conversion is on order. I just wanted to know if you knew the part number for the foam bumper for 2011? Was it difficult to replace or was it easy? While the bumper was off did the ducts look like they were easy to replace? They aren't that expensive and i'm thinking of ordering them as well as the foam impact absorber from the 2011/12 model. I have a 2006 IS250.

No, the ducts aren't expensive but I don't think you can swap them just by having the bumper off, you might have to remove the fenders as well in order to replace them properly. As far as the energy foam absorber according to Sewell website the p/n is 5261153140. It's a breeze to replace it, it just sits on the front bumper reinforcement piece. It would be advisable to go with it since it will fit perfectly with the new bumper, I made the mistake of reusing the old one and had to struggle to close all the gaps between the bumper and the fenders and the hood but once the correct part goes on, all of those gaps just disappear like magic. May it's just me.

Awesome! Did you also have to get new wheel liners or do those line up as well once the foam bumper is replaced?

No, the holes don't line up, you have to either get the new 2012 fender liners as well or just live with it. I plan on getting them from a junk yard if I can find them later on, can't think of shelling out 200 bucks for those now.

Darn...ok maybe ill push back the install a bit and try and scratch up for those fender liners. Do you have the part numbers for those too by any chance?

Don't worry, once you tuck it in, it's rock solid, no rattling of any kind and it's not going anywhere. Beside with the new 2011-12 fender liners, all the front holes will line up, of course since it's designed for one another but I'm not sure about the holes in the back (the ones on the fender), will they be the same? Nobody cant tell until you actually have it on.

Oh ok I was just worried that it was going to be exposed or separated. If it holds just by tucking it in i'll be happy. I'll just make note of it to tuck the liners when I bring it in. Thanks a lot!

I'm planning on doing this mod to my 06 IS 350.

so it's basically a direct bolt on as long as I get the front bumper absorber, and don't worry about the tabs for my fender liner.

Is there any issue with brackets or tabs if I stick with my 06 headlights?

I wanted to bring back this thread, since I'm planning on this upgrade. Could anyone answer this question asked by member viprtwo?

Could I buy just the bumper cover, grills, fog lights, fog covers and absorber for this conversion? It seems like the kit from sewell is including a lot of unecessary items.

Thanks!
