My friend has a 2012 lexus is350 and when he holds the unlock button on the alarm his windows down roll down like on my 07 model. Do u have to program it or does the dealer have to

It is a dealer programmable option. The factory default is ON.

If you log into drivers.lexus.com you can find a dealer customization document that you can print out, fill in, and take to the dealer to have things setup just the way you want them

Dealer can definitely program it for you. Most of them will do it for free, and they have to do it for free at least the first time anyway...but i haven't seen anyone around where i'm at get charged for it regardless.

If you do get this feature turned on be very careful if you park your car outside. If you leave the FOB in your pocket you may go out side and find all of your windows and the sunroof down. If the FOB is in your pocket and you lean against something you might be leaning on the unlock button without knowing it and open everything up. The doors will re lock after 30 seconds but the windows and SR will not close. I had this happen to me and mine was supposed to come with this turned off by default. I went outside to find the windows down about 2 inches. I have the vert so no sun roof to open. I went to the dealer and had them turn this off as my car lives outside.
