I'd personally be content with the 2012 fsport, but if you want the performance go for it!

chose the IS350 with F Sport suspension, exhaust and induction.

The choice was between the 2012 350 with 5000 miles and a 2008 ISF with 22,000 miles both at the same asking price.

I loved the ISF 's V8 engine and its power and the 8 speed was fun. However, I preferred the 2012 version of the suspension on rough roads. Reading the ISF forum, I was concerned that the superb Bembo brakes were requiring much more frequent replacements and the rotors on the car I looked at were scored and would probably need replacement soon.

Finally, as much as I love power -- I get frustrated when I can't drive a car to its potential and I didn't think I'd be able to find places to drive the ISF the way I'd want to drive it.

I'm really pleased with the decision, I love the handling on my car, it is fast and even with me pushing it hard, I'm getting around 22.9 mpg average.

Just one guy's priorities -- I'm sure I would have been happy either way.
