Ok. So to me it looks like AWD or RWD its the same, as long as you have a good set of winter tires on the RWD.?

according to Kurtz, Yes A good set of Winter tires + RWD and you will be almost as good as AWD with all season tires, However It does depend on the driver too...

Im not saying I never drive a RWD besides this car in non dry weather, just my celica was a pain. I'm just on the AWD because I drove a friends Legacy and loved it (drove an STI to and loved it too)
Were you on proper dedicated tires and not all season?

My dad used to have a Toyota Supra and never had issues with speeds.

Last year I was in the exact same predicament you are currently in. Due to many transmission problems i decided to get rid of my 09 Mazda Rx8, also i wanted something a bit more roomy. It came down to the '11 335i sedan and the '11 IS350 f-sport... After having driven both i went with the lexus due to a much better looking gauge cluster, better nav set up, a whole lot more comfortable, and had a much more aggressive look. Honestly the only real edge the beamer had was quickness and it really wasn't that much faster. I'm obsessed with my 350 and haven't once doubted my choice. But to each their own, hope this helps

and there is your issue.

they call em all-seasons because the suck, in all seasons.

Above 40 degrees they're significantly inferior to summer tires

below 40, especially in snow, they're significantly inferior to winter tires
