IS250 Carbon Build up CSP

I didn't see anything official as far as a follow up visit after having the pistons replaced. What I did though, was come back after 1k miles on the new pistons and get an oil change done. You probably don't have to, but I figured there might be metal shavings and such from all the new parts breaking in. The dealer did check their work on the motor at that time too, but I think it was more as a courtesy.

Any chance that you can post that Lexus Carbon Build-Up letter? It would be good back up to use at the dealership as they are trying to solve the sudden power loss, rough idle, VSC and trac warning lights issue. Many thanks.

Carbon Build-Up issue and Lexus Support
I received a call-back from Lexus assigning me a Case Manager in response to my ongoing sudden power loss and VSC, trace, engine lights warnings. This recurring issue is more problematic in that my onboard CPU is making NO records of the events. My dealer has told me that they have made almost 2 dozen repairs under warranty for these symptoms (including cylinder work) but cannot help me without recovering data from the computer. Mention of the carbon build-up issue was also made in discussing the problem. Although the dealer has been as cooperative and cordial as possible, Lexus Support tells them they will not authorize any repair without computer records. Even a snapshot of the dashboard lit up won't help without the recording from the car's computer. I'll post an update when I hear back from my Lexus Case Manager (should be in another few days). I will make sure to inquire about the carbon-build up issue and its relation to any warranty work Lexus will do to correct it. Right now, I've got a 67,000-mile car that can quit at any minute and there's nothing my dealer can do about it.
