I have done it, yes there are holes, best way is HEAT! makes more of he glue come up but not to much or the paint will start to crack, then use floss to get under it.

leave it out in the sun for a few hours or use a heat gun on low, you can use floss or fishing line. Also used an old Blockbuster video card since its very flexible and not hard enough to damage paint. Excess paint is easily removed with goo gone especially if you heat it up some more with a heat gun before you start to apply the goo gone. Just use soap and water and clear the areas where you used the goo gone and then dry it up before reapply a new emblem/3m tape.

Doesnt sewell sell a tool for removing the badges? I dont know how well it works though.
