Does anyone know where to get these rubber strips for DIY, and how to remove them effectively?

Something like this.

The sun and ageing of the rubber makes it pealing and sort of bubbling.

The rubber trim on the chrome trim around the windows is starting to bubble and lift on my 2006 IS. I am so tempted just to peel it completely off, yet I am unsure what would happen. :\

If someone could chime in on this, that'd be great

Ive seen people take it off and plasti dip it. Personally I thought about taking it off and using a thick black pin striping. Should match up

That's exactly what i'm asking about. I had sunvisors on and when i took them off i found the rubber strip to be peeling and and bubbling.

Can these strips be fully removed and not replaced?
