Has anyone had a problem with the gauge not sweeping on start up. I was tripping on yesterday when it didn't sweep when I went to get lunch. Came home an it was working fine. Now it's acting up again and won't sweep at start up. On acc it will sweep but not when starting it up

when was the last time you changed your battery

The last couple times this was reported, it was because the car battery was about to go out

Probably an indicator that the batter is low, it will not sweep.

possibly battery change up time not enough juice

x2 on the battery about to go, before you do change it, check the indicator on the battery, you might just need to refill the battery with distilled water

My 05 Scion's battrey lasted until 2011, it did the same thing the gauges would not sweep when I turned on the car. It died a few weeks later.

Pansonic battery lasted forever! The guy at Auto Zone told me the replacement battery will not last as long as the orginal that it was strange to see a battery last that long.

I had the same question last week, went out and got new battery. It's fine now.
