Hey everyone my names Mike, just dropping in and getting some feed back, ive belonged to other forms before so I have an idea of how they work. Im 20 and just bought my first Lexus and cant wait to start making it my own. Here are my plans. First things first, H&R springs, what are your recommendations (pics would be nice as well). HIDs, looking for something in the 5K range, what kind of set ups do you all have? I have already completely LEDed the interior and next stop is the parking lights (im gonna do that when I get my HIDs). I live in the NE, right around the philly area. Looking forward to starting this project.

Welcome to the club enjoy your new ride and happy modding. On the main 2IS section at the top you'll find a lot of DIY guides a thread about lighting and great threads that have been stickied that'll help you with mods and finding parts for your car. As for the lights 5k is a good choice. Pretty much a perfect white. No yellow and no blue tint. I have it on mine and it compliments my 2012 led headlights real nice. What color and what year did u get? Be sure to post some pics

I'm more curious about how you can afford an IS250 at 20 years old. I remember at 20 years old, I was still waiting on Hamburger Helper to go on sale at Wal-mart so I can stock up on that ****.

Mike welcome to CL! Nice to have another member.
Are you looking for performance mods or looks or both?
As far as performance goes, the best bang for the buck is the F-sport sway bars. Handling improves greatly.
You can black out your headlights which will cost you a can of spray paint and some clear silicone. Rims are always a nice appearance mod.
Good luck with whatever you decide. You can search and there's tons of things you can upgrade on the IS.

high mileage or salvage 2IS's range from 12k-20k. Plus some members on here in the how old are you thread have admitted that they were blessed enough to have rich parents.

i love my h&r sport springs. nice drop and ride. just do whatever you think you can afford and like the mods for this car is endless. some simple basic ideas are like, wheels, ride height, intake, exhaust. bodykits. visors. but you can always get crazy with it lol.
