Looking for Tire Wheel Expert for simple question
I know I could have searched, but I cant seem to find just the simple answer im looking for.
I have a 2011 Awd. I want to buy a second set of wheels. Im thinking 18's are fine, what offset do I need so its as close to OEM as possible, I dont want no rubbing or shaving any wheel wells or rolling any fenders. What other measurements should i be looking at?
I was thinking to get those replica wheels on ebay so I wanted to know why are they so cheap? are they very heavy or will they break on the first pothole. what makes OEM rims better than those
?

First question for you is...ARE YOU LOWERED?
Now to answer your questions in regards to STOCK HEIGHT
18 looks pretty small on these cars but is better than stock 17 on the AWD
stock is 17x8 +45 which is super conservative, and imho looks like crap...if you want to stick to that then it's gona be 18x8 +45 but still looks like crap
I'd at least go with 18x8.5 +35 at the very least..........at stock height you have a lot more options to play with but won't look good if too aggressive on stock height
I'm dropped on H&R, 18x8.75 +35 running 225/40R18 and no issue at all, definitely have room to go wider in the rear, or more aggressive offset for both front and rear
if you want cheaper replica wheels at least get like xxr rota konig............of if you have the money get like linea corse or varrstoen.........

to the OP, if you're interested in a set of aftermarket 18's, i've got a set of work wheels listed in the wheels/tires classified section (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/whe...te-bronze.html) you might be interested in, and they're a LOT better than replica wheels.
