I would try and re-calibrate the EPS ECU first, or let the dealer do it for you. It's probably even cheaper than buying correct cable that costs couple hundred bucks!. Who knows where the ECU came from and if it was properly calibrated by the previous owner. Maybe that was the reason somebody was selling it.

I recall reading someone had the same problem with steering ECU. It was suggested to undo connectors, check to see if the pins are all straight, clean it with contact cleaner, apply little bit of dielectric grease and insert connectors making sure they're all the way in. Apparently this fixed the steering issue.

I've removed mine, and reseated it many times. While changing 02 sensor. Problem still persists. I'm keeping a sharp eye on the classifieds if any 11+ pop up.

Good luck with that! I kept searching for a used -41 for awhile and finally gave up and bought one from Bell Lexus using a $50 off coupon code. Although if I decide to pickup a -42 for a 2012 I'll sell you mine!

When I got my car they were popping up like popcorn. At the time I was relatively new to this platform. What I was reading at the time 08-10 was the most stiffest feel unit. So that's why I went for it. Coming from a 2nd gen GS they had one or 2 style steering ECU's. Though no mater what you did the GS still had sloppy steering.

If you had picked up a used -41 at the time for cheap, it would have been like picking up Intuitive Surgical stock when it was $10. The reason I use this example is I work within the industry and had a chance when it was $10. Now it's more like $757 per share! If I had only bought a 1000 shares...

You get my drift!
