So winter + IS = ?
Hey,
I have not had the IS350 long enough to experience it in the snow. How bad is it and does the snow button work ?
my bmw e39 was great in the snow, the traction control was awesome never got stuck once even up a hill fish tailing all the way up on regular all season tires.

This is how I get around in the snow. I always have 200 pounds of salt in the trunk, traction control is OFF, snow mode is on, and snow tires. However, even with this, I still get better traction in my brother's Civic with almost bald all-seasons. My neighbor had his IS350 since 06 and never use it in the snow. He has all-seasons on and he can't even get out of his street parking spot with an inch of snow. The BMW should be better since it probably has an LSD, the IS doesn't.

My IS350 gets around great in snow/ice with bridgestone blizzak lm-60's.
I have a steep driveway and it has no issues going right up when covered. Just make sure you always take your traction control off.

My 350Z is doing better in snow than my IS350, lol. BTW, both car has the same tire, my 350Z is even running a pair of 275 in the rear and a pair of 245 up front.

right above it stated no lsd so no go. I think the snowtires make the biggest diffrence I seen it when I switched from my Acura TL-S stock tires to Blizzards. Night and day it felt like the car had awd but of course it didnt.

IDK I think rust will take a very long time to star, I mean there is 1991 ford tauruses out there with zero rust on them. I once was lke that also but then I just grew out of that fear and realized I will not have the car for more than five years.
