Hey all, I've had my '12 IS250 for about 5 months now, I already had the 1st maintenance done, but ever since I can remember, I have this rattle coming from the driver's door / door handle at just about any speed when there is any bump on the road of any size.

Anyway, before I bring this up to the dealer on my 10k maintenance next month or so, I was wondering if any of you have had similar problems?

I know it is the door handle because if I hold the door handle with my hand, the rattle stops, and resumes when I remove my hand. It sounds like a fly is inside the car and trying to get out by hitting the glass over and over, very annoying if my music isn't loud enough to cover it, and totally not expected from a Lexus. So far this is pretty much my only complaint with my car other than the S. FL service I've received so far.

Have you gotten your windows tinted? I had a similar problem where they didn't screw something tight. I had Lexus inspect and fix it for me during a service.

Yes, don't even want to remember about the tints, I had 2 issues with the tints, in total 3 trips to get the tints done right. So, do they remove the door panels when they install tints?

Depends on the installer, in a lot of cases, yes.

With good tint window installers, door panels don't need to be removed.
