Question about bluetooth and navigation in 2009 is250 AWD I just bought
I just bought a 2009 IS250 AWD with navigation, backup camera's, bluetooth etc. Please excuse me if I am asking dumb questions but this is the first lexus I ever owned and the first car with NAV I have ever owned. My questions are:
- I really like the NAV and the interface on the 2010 is there anyway to upgrade to that version?
- Since my car dosent support bluetooth audio streaming can I hook something like this : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047T79VS/ref=s9_simh_gw_p422_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1QM49XQQD6DFFGRVDMWQ&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846
bluetooth streaming device into my aux port in my console and it auto connect to my phone everytime I get in and have it stream audio from there?
Thank you guys for all your help!

So unfortunately, that UI cannot be upgraded to the ones found on those model years and up and only the navigation maps can be updated via DVD update. I personally find the interface fine and I'm driving a 2007 IS 250 AWD with updated 2011 maps.
For the bluetooth streaming device, I was debating either or not to pick the Belkin in question or the GOgroove BlueGate Wireless A2DP Bluetooth Audio Music Adapter & Receiver. Eventually, I went for the GOgroove over three things, one was because it was rechargeable and didn't require a power adapter, it was small and compact making it simple to use and keeps the center console usable for storage, and it shuts off automatically after a certain time of inactivity. Only drawback is that you have to manually power it up and only then will it auto connect.
Hope this answers your questions.
