Did I miss out on a good IS350 deal?
For months I've been searching for that perfect combination of a Lexus. It consisted of an IS350, Starfire Pearl exterior and black interior. With or without Nav. Perferably a stock spoiler.
Well as if it wasn't hard enough without all those combinations, last week I found my "dream car".
It had all of the features I wanted of an 2008 IS350, 41k Mileage. Starfire Pearl, Black Interior, Navigation, stock spoiler, and aftermarket wheels. This was at a dealership called Luxor Auto Scottsdale priced for 24k. Apparently the price is considered to be reduced already as posted on their website. So my question now is that did I miss out on a good deal? It was sold, not sure for how much but it was sold a few days ago.
Me being a very patient person, wanted to wait until next year to get an 2007 IS350 with the listed specifications above hoping for the value of the 2007-2008 depreciate a good 15% and hoping for more combinations like this popping up on Craigslist or te dealerships when the 3rd Generation IS comes out.
Anyways what are your thoughts? Could I have tried to lower their price to 22k OTD? I'm 19 years old and don't know how to negotiate but hope to learn soon for next year.

Well I just bought at 09 is350 black on black with nav for 21500. I looked and looked for a while. It had 66000 miles on it which is a little high but not awful for an almost 4 year old car. So take your time and keep searching and u will get a good deal. Good luck.

Here is how to negotiate, go to Lexusowner.com, register, and go to service history, put in the Vin#( from the vehicle that you r interested in).And see if there's any problem or major fixed on that specific vehicle. If yes, than you can ask them for the infos and you will be able to drag down the price as well if there was major or minor problem on that car before. This is one technique on negotiating in Lexus. good luck
