Lexus IS250 on 16" wheels
This is only for reference, for anyone who, for whatever reason, decides to put 16-inch wheels on their IS250 and wants to see what it looks like. I did a quick search, and although it has been discussed, I didn't find any pictures. Personally, I have them on my car for a winter wheel/tire setup. Stock AWD suspension.
Oh, wheels are 16x7 with a +40 offset, and tires are 215/55/R16.
Another note, IS350s can't run 16s because there isn't enough clearance for the caliper size. Just FYI

There is snow in the northern parts of Ontario, and Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton) already. Most of it didn't stay on the ground, but considering that temperature in the morning is close to freezing point, winter tires are needed to maintain good grip for the eventual frosted sections of roads.

^^ Didn't know that they were an option, I've never seen them.
RDIS250AWD, the tires for my 17s would have cost me $950 shipped, and I would still have to factor in the cost of unmounting the old tires and mount and balance on the new tires. Plus the cost of mount and balance in the summer when I switch back. I was able to get these for $1250 shipped to my door, no TPMS, but mounted and balanced already. I'm not as baller as you, I can't afford 19s and the winter tires to go with them =P just kidding!
I put them on already because as My0gr81 said, it's starting to get really cold overnight. We've gone as low as -7 deg. Celsius within the past two weeks. It's gonna snow anytime now. And yeah I know, 16s are definitely not ideal looks-wise, but they're perfect for Canadian winters. The bigger sidewalls mean more cushion on the crappy roads that are prone to potholes and random dips and cracks. I swear, our roads are garbage compared to you guys in the US.
