Help please! Stuck on F-Sport Front sway install
Hi everyone,
I am stuck!! I was planning on putting on my front sway today. 1) Remove all the engine panels under car 2) I was able to remove all the 17mm and 14mm bolt except the ride height sensor bolt. The bolt is completed stripped (I believe from an air tool when the suspension was put on) The bolt is messed up. I tried a adjustable crescent wrench...no luck...13/32 hex bit no luck....pliers no luck. i just dont know remove this darn bolt. Which would free the bar. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

I presume you mean rounded-off, not stripped. Stripped is when the threads are "stripped". For a rounded-off bolt head you can try a few things:
Try using a set of locking pliers (aka Vise Grips). Get them as tight as possible and ease the torque onto the bolt. If you try moving it too fast too soon, it may make the situation worse.
You could also try to use a cutting wheel or grinder and flatten two opposite sides. This would allow you to use the locking pliers or adjustable wrench.
The best way to get a rounded bolt off is to use a specialized tool like Grip-Tite sockets. If you have a Harbor Freight in the area, you could try finding a tool similar to those.

you got a picture of the damaged bolt. Yeah its a rounded bolt, but a pic might or will help to better diagnose and solve the problem.
Usually the biggest Vice Grip and pole used together should be able to loosen that bolt. (and some super saiyen)

Pics would great for us to help you, but a quick and easy way now to dremel it off and go to the autozone buy a new sway bar link and call it a day
PS: mine was easy to loose because I changed my sway when my car still new, but I had the hard time to change my friend's 06 IS350 due to the thread was rusted, and I had to use the torch to heat it to get it loose, if you go with the torch to heat you have to careful not to burn the joint bar grease gasket rubber

Another trick I have used in the past.. Drill a whole into the center of the bold and use an "Easy Out" to remove the bolt.
Also, don't forget to give it a good squirt of liquid wrench.

I would say that. I noticed a huge difference when I installed the rear sway. My turns were crisp and tight. Much less body roll and more confidence at higher speed. I noticed a little difference in front sway install, but it felt more balance. I think both are a must do, to keep the suspension balanced with even stiffness. I love this upgrade in general. My car is lowered on H&R/F-sport Shocks with both sways....and I absolutely love the handling. Little compromise on the harshness what you make up 10 fold with handling!!
