Default Installing a dashcam.

Im looking into getting a dashcam but i dont know how to set up the wires so they are hidden and which power source should i use since i will be using the one on the center console to charge things. Does anyone have one setup? Care to share how you did it? Thanks!

Subscribed! Interested in seeing what others have done as well to hook up a dash cam.
Most of the ones i've seen so far on CL have been pretty clean installs.

I like this install, hiding the camera out of side behind the mirror so you don't see it in your line of site. Also does a good job of hiding the wiring.

Hooked mine straight to the battery and grounded to my chassis.
Removed A pillar
Removed side dash garnish
Ran wire through firewall, behind side dash garnish, up A pillar, through the headliner, Done.
Took 45 minutes
