Changing the moonroof would not be a DIY. The entire headliner needs to be removed!

Lexus didn't remove my headliner when my sunroof glass was replaced under insurance for a scratch on it.

Moon roof is very easy to replace, there are only 4 screws that you have to remove. If you don't want to deal with insurance, you can buy the moonroof from sewell and replace it yourself. Shouldn't even take you more than 15 mins to replace it.
