Cool Just Bought HID's From HIDeXtra.

Well,
I Finally pulled the trigger and bought the HID conversion kit for my Lexus IS250 AWD.
I got H11 6000k 55W HID's for $67.99 from HIDeXtra. I used a coupon for a $12.00 discount.
Hoping To Receive It By Friday....

Just for future reference I got my first HID kit from hidextra as well but they were on sale for $45 o_O But mine are 35W.
Also ddmtuning is cheaper and has lifetime warranty!

I have a friend who told me about DDMTuning but i was a bit skeptical about their "lifetime warranty"..

DDM Tuning is HIT or MISS. They say 6k or 8K and sometimes its either SUPER WHITE or too blue. Ive had flickering issues, not igniting issues, turning off after 10 mins issues. Like i said, its hit or miss and ive had 7 ktis from them in the past.

Xenondepot makes excellent quality HID Kit's. Yes its more money, but its worth every penny.

Very true^^

I bought a 3K kit from DDM and it was great, I just got tired of the 3K look. Luckily my kit had no issues

I've had a HIDExtra 3k HID kit in my fogs on my 350 for a while now...never a day with any issue. But, I did also get the separate wiring harness which I highly recommend for the kit.

Am I a total rook for buying a new bulb from my dealer for $175? I wouldn't have the first clue how to install it myself if I bought a cheaper one somewhere else.

I had DDM tuning in the past, ran them for 2 years no problems whatsoever.

I also have 6K HIDExtra as my fogs, running them for 10 months now no issues too.

So, did anyone use a wiring harness and is it needed or can you install without it?
And, does HIDeXtra come with the rubber to seal the hole in the Non-HID IS?

Install is very simple, just unplug the OEM one and plug in the new one.

Never buy stuff like that from the dealer without checking CL first

You dont NEED a harness, as long as your kit is 35W and not 55W, you should be fine without it.

And yes, the HIDeXtra bulb does have the rubber seal around the bulb
