in North Miami. but all and all 100k miles is 100k miles. the years don't matter.

maybe I should talk him into reducing that warranty

How do you buy a car, sign paperwork and not know what you signed? You then come to a car forum for help?

uhm, hmm, confused.

Call the dealer, or simply go back and cancel the warranty or better yet, get a explanation of what exactly you have purchased. It seems that YOU dont even know, therefore, how can I or WE Help you? Come on now.. they prob. stuck it to you, hate to say it that way. Figure it out quick before its too late.

those warranty prices are so arbitrary too. They started mine at 2K, telling me about how many computers cars had nowadays and how it would pay for itself if I had even just one major problem. When I said no, then the price became $1,600, then $1,200.

I basically said, if the car had major problems, then I'd never be buying Lexus again. That basically shut the guy up.

wrong my friend. especially with the miles you have right now you will actually get through 3 years before you get to 100k miles unless ur gonna drive 25k miles a year. so the extra 2 years will actually make the difference IMO, but it's not too late anyways they can take it off and call the finance company and thy will take it off the back end

They hoodoo'd you on the optionals. CPO car has warranty to 100k anyway. The prepaid maintenance is optional too. You can get your money back for the warranty and prepaid service, unless you want to keep the service and just take it in when due since its already paid for.

So, if I take off the extended warranty, will I still have the same coverage under the CPO warranty ?

This is covered on Lexus' website.

http://www.lexus.com/cpo/overview/warranty.html

Your next step would be to contact the finance manager to find out what the extra warranty you paid for covers, then decide if you want it or not. If not, refund the warranty through the dealership, or through the finance company itself. Done and done.
