What fluid did I drain?

WS trans fluid turns brownish rather quickly. It's normal. I know 225 sounds like a lot of money but i think they were fair with you. It's really not fun to fill a WS trans to the right level. On the bright side, you accidentally got a trans fluid drain and fill.

I'm really glad it's fixed.I was not thinking about money at that point only for them to sort it out. I think $225 was fair enough. Even if he'd say $600 I'd still go ahead and had them fix it. They did lay into me for messing with it which I understand , but all and all I did bring them business. Closest Lexus dealer from me is about 4hrs away and that would make it a hefty bill. I think they would jack up the bill if I wasn't there on stand by. Since the sales person insisted on me leaving it all day. After all it took them about 1 to 1 1/2 hr of labor with me helping to push it in making sure they don't drive it as is. Car runs as it has before, keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for all info!
