Default FlyAudio

Hey guys, I have a 2009 Lexus IS250 AWD and decided to install a FlyAudio unit and have had nothing but problems. I'm on my 3 unit and still experiencing problems.
Anyone know how to resolve an issue with the iPhode interface?

Originally, my ipod would lock as I connected it so that I can control it through the head unit.
Now, my interface is blank and I can only control it through my iPod.

Anyone experiencing this problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make sure you did not accidently pulled on the ipod harness and it pulled away from the unit. I had this problem once and it turned out to be that I pulled it out as I did not snap the harness in all the way.

One other thing I noticed that for some reason the Flyaudio units do not work very well on old Iphone OS software. On my 3GS i use to run jailbroken OS 4.0 and the phone would say "this accessory is not compatible" Once I updated to 5.1.1 (Also Jailbroken) the unit works a lot better and actually reads the track info unlike before.

Thanks for the input B, I have tried multiple iproducts including my 4S with no luck.

I will check the harness connection. I didn't think it would be that as it's intermittent but I guess it doesn't hurt.
