Default Hid bulb issue

Hi i have 2007 is250 with the stock hids and I've noticed that one of my bulbs will turn off at random times while the other one works fine when driving. If i turn the light system off then back on then the bulb will come back on. Is this just a sign that the bulb needs replacing which i hope is all it is?

I am having the same problem. I think it might be the bulb. Just buy a new pair for 60 bucks here http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3180

5 year lifetime warranty too no hassle.

I am in the same boat as you at times with the replacement bulbs that I bought.
The 8K set I had no issues but the 6K set seems to do it.
It probably isnt related to the K but more of a quality issue with the bulbs.

Not that big of a deal. Get yourself some good quality 6000Ks while you're at it.

Contact Steve at xenondepot. Their bulbs are great.

It's not that hard to replace the bulb, I believe there's a guide here somewhere too that shows you how to do it. I would recommend getting the Garax 6k bulbs! I got them as replacements for the stock HID's and love 'em. Quite a few other members here have them too. They are under $100 for the pair.
