wheels dont fit over calipers. can i shave the wheel?

I just think the issue is not clicking..
If the wheels r not clearing the calipers then shaving them would bring the wheels even closer to the calipers.. You need to add instead of shave
If you're talking about shaving the barrels then you might better off selling the wheels and buy a new set for your own safety.

Sell the wheels, don't put others in danger by modifying safety related equipment on the car. While you may think there is enough material on the caliper, but numerous engineers that care about weight, cost and placement volume have looked at the design before it ended up in the car.
