Someone please inform me how exactly this happened? My window was rattling so I rolled it down and back up, and it did this...


How do I fix it?

I had just gotten home FROM THE DEALER for service.

It looks like the window bracket may have broken or came loose on one side, I believe they are held by two attachments. You'll have to take off the door panel to check. You may have to buy a new window glass assembly because the bracket is attached to the base of the window glass.

By the way, already got the door panel off, window re-aligned, rolled back up, and the motor unplugged until I can get the nerve to drive it back to the dealer.

that's is an easy fix for warranty, no worries

first time I have seen this happen on the forum though
