Default DIY airconditioning filter

Today I changed my aircon filter
With a blitz hybrid filter

Cheap and big visible Difference

Smells nice too

Ps: the black lines in old filter is dirt not light shadow

lmao, I'm sorry this is kind of funny. It's titled DIY with no instructions nor pictures.

This is easy though for those who don't know, open your glove box, pull out the tray, open the cover on the back of the firewall and voila.. air filter

He's a typical Aussie....

You forgot the bit about putting it into recirculation mode - THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!!

You know, after seeing this, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...tion-mode.html I wonder how can anyone change the air filter without putting it in air recirculation mode, the whole thing is closed off!

Easy. You do as many, many others have done.

You force open the door and break the servo arm in the process.

For those of you who have done this, check this thread out for the fix: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...g-to-circ.html

They really should have put a warning sticker on the filter door tho. It's amazing how one seemingly small mistake becomes a expensive fix instantly just because you forget to put the car in recirculate mode lol.
