IS low beam issue...please help
Hello all, I wanted to see if anyone might have a clue what could be going on.
My low beam bulbs were going bad so I replaced them with Philips D4S. I replaced both sides. Now when I turn on my low beams the passenger side stays on for about 1 second and then it cuts out. I've found out that if you turn the low beams off and on and off and on, etc... (from 3-7 times) the passenger low beam will stay on until you turn them off. Now, I have switched bulbs to make sure it wasn't a bad bulb. Its not the bulbs b/c the passenger works in the driver side and when I put the driver side bulb in the passenger, I get the same issue. Does anyone have any clue about this?
It doesn't make sense to me why the passenger side stays on for 1 second every time until the time that they stay on full time.

Would the high beams still work if the ballast is bad? Because mine both still work. Also, now the passenger side low beam will only stay on for a split second and it will not stay on longer no matter how many times you flip it on and off.

This sounds like a bad HID ballast. esp after switching out the bulbs.
