IMO you can clearly see that J was in the lane first and completing his lane change(straightening the car out)when he was hit seconds later, not when he turned his wheel to change lanes but when he was 99% done. also look at where the damage is on the other drivers car...it's almost at the passenger back door and not in the front where it should have been had they tried to change lanes at the same moment. IMO it's the other drivers fault . the insurance company made the right decision. keep that dashcam rolling J.

I was slow rolling out of a parking lot in my moms sequoia when some lady backed up into my rear passenger fender and AAA said it was 50/50 which I still don't understand til this day. Guess money was and still is the answer.
That sucks! Even when u r doing right thing but other people came in and ruin the good ones.. I glad u weren't too bad! I think money talks too! Cuz they already paid the body shop over $5000... lol

Yup! Whole things comes to my favor! And also not only by seeing how I merge in, we know there was a taxi cap ahead of me. So when he side swiped me, I went over the cap withought hitting him and I was in between the white lane. That is a strong evidence on my side.

And thank you all again

I watched the collision part 10x's! Going the speed he was going, he should've seen Jason merge in already. Not only that, Jason is almost fully in the lane. At the least, both at fault but it should be his fault.

I think you meant to say that you're 0% liable. Otherwise, we shouldn't trust a word you say

Glad that everything worked our for you.
