OK, it's my turn....
So you got in your mind saying FTW you talking about? OK my bad.
This was happened yesterday in the downtown SF 11:20AM
That stupid driver ran over me when I almost finishing turning into the lane. I was driving slow as you can see on the video.
OK the main question here is.. WHO's at fault? from my opinion, it was his fault. Because he was speeding into the lane without caring about any cars on his left. I did saw him on the forth lane#he was going straight# before I turn into third lane, which was the accident happen.
The damage was.. fender wrapped and popped out, bumper cracked little and scratched really bad and came off, fender well rubbing against the front right wheel, wheel looks tilted in a little.
no one was injure of course
and I would like to know what you guys think who was fault? just give me your opinions if you have.
drive safe guys!

Ouch! Yeah, seeing as how you went right and he went left and you both met almost simultaneously; I would say you both are at fault. It may have been different if you were driving on the lane a little bit longer and then he side swiped you because then it would have been negligence on his part. But then again, the damage does look far back enough on his car that could show that he didn't check his blind spot?

I think more likely his fault, it seem like he cut in a front of you, not like you t-bone him, but it suck to see it happen man, I hate fender work, it hard to get the right side to match now after the paint job

Insurance companies will settle on shared fault. You each will pay your own deductibles, and insurance companies will take care of their own damages for their insured.
Me in your shoes, argument = "Guy cut me off by coming into the lane that I just entered."
Me in other guy's shoes argument = "Guy didn't signal, I did. I was coming into the lane and other guy jumped into the lane last second from a stop behind a taxi cab."

When the guy came out of the car he looked so pissed.
It might be your fault because you werent moving and other car was moving.
At the end of the day, i think that you actually hit him.
He didnt seem to be speeding as you described and his only duty was to see the car on the lane that he was coming into. At the time lane was open.
51/49 your fault.

that's crazy you have this on camera. Its clearly the green prius's fault for trying to switch through a solid white line and ****ing you over. Good Luck and thank god he and/or you weren't going faster.

I'd agree and say both of you are at fault.
On the plus side, his face when he got out... Too funny. Hahaha.

Just keep in mind that I did use turn signal, turn the volume up so you can hear it from the video.
his face was sure funny I agreed lol, but look closely between the lane where he enter, hit, and where he stopped. Because changing lane you have to make sure the lane is clear. so I turned, and he was going from my back and hit my front, I was going slower than him for sure, but I think from his angle he should saw my turn signal light flashing and my car was moving right and change into the lane before me or just avoid it. I know when accident happen like these people always trying to say it's other party's fault. But just from the video clip, I think it's more his fault or both fault.

pretty tough call. It does look like he sped up and cut you off though. was his turn signal on? or it prob happened so fast you dont remember
*edit I rewatched the video bout 10 times and yeah it looks like you both got in that lane almost at the same time, him about a second or two before you but chances are insurance companies will settle for each of you to pay your own deductable.
