Based on what I remember and the police report... I was heading South on the far right lane... as I approached the intersection light turns from RED to GREEN... I didn't reduce speed continued at 40mph. The F-150 was heading North on the far left and making a left turn, his light went from GREEN to RED and he got caught in the middle because of a crown vic that cut him off to make a U-turn. I didn't see the F-150 because there was a semi on my left lane. So I hit him on the front passenger side.
My car was totaled... other than that a few brushes and a minor concussion we are all fine!!!

How you're driving is like how I drive on my road, but with the exception that mine doesn't allow any left turns. I know when the light turns green according to a specific speed limit and if cars on the road perpendicular to mine runs a red, I'd do the exact same thing as you basically.
man sorry to see this dude, glad you walked away from it. Hopefully you'll get back in another IS. Thats some serious damage and if all u have is a few brushes and a minor concussion then that car may have saved your life. Get well soon
