hey everyone,

soon i will be starting my new project on my 2006 is250, installing HID's.

Im trying to make sure all the orange will be gone by the time im done.

im trying to figure out what i will need to change everything out. here is what i know i need to change:

fog light replacement
low beam replacement

what about the side lights? also is there a difference between the hi and low beam bulbs?

in other words, what do i need to change all of my lights out in order to have no orange glow?

A simple seach would have provided you with all of your answers.


Do you have HIDs from the factory?

Yes: You already have them
No: You need a H11 HID kit (ballasts + bulbs)

Fogs: You need a 9006 HID kit (ballasts + bulbs)

You highbeam is the same bulb as your DRL (When the DRL is on, its just at a lower power)

As stated above, you should already have HID low beams from the factory. Swap out the bulbs to Garax 6000K and be done with it.

The OP didnt state if he had HIDs from the factory or not ^^

I do jot have hids. It's either halogens or LEDs, and they give off that bland orange glow.

Your car is a 06, you def have halogens not LEDs.
