holy ****. sorry for your loss of your gf and your car. Airbags would have certainly saved a life here i feel like. maybe you can sue lexus for not deploying airbags during any collision. because that bull****. being rear ended could just be as bad as a headon at times... hope you feel better sooner than later.

she had her seat fully reclined. that and airbags do not deploy when one is rear-ended, thus there was no mechanical failure.

thanks everyone.

im probably gonna go the more economical route and get a new accord. was thinking about just replacing my 350 with another but the mpg is lacking compared to the newer cars. if anyone knows someone who can help me out with a deal that would be awesome. thanks.

Sorry about your lost man. When I first read the thread it brought some tears to my eyes. I know what it feels like to lose someone really close to you. You've to stay strong through times like this. I will keep you and you gf family in my prayers. Also another reason why i don't text or talk on the phone when driving. But all the people that I hang out with drive the 8th gen accord. I don't know if you want the 8th or new 9th gen. But i can definitely help you out with that. One of my good friend is a car salesmen at Honda. PM your budget, i4 or v6, or any other package you want. He did tell me that they were hard to come by cause they sell so quick.
