I'd say give it at least one more test drive, enable Sport Mode and give it a spin, then try sport mode + Manual Shift, I can assure you that you'll have a different story to tell

I haven't driven one, but looking at autotrader, the prices for ISFs are looking good, About 37k, for a good one, not bad!

I think the IS-F felt slow to you because the IS-F learns your driving habits just like your 350 does. Previous owners of the IS-F probably didn't push it hard, so therefore the ECU was still in granny mode. It didn't shift hard, or rev high until you push it hard (past 40 mph).

I bet if you had reset the battery, the IS-F would have felt like a rocket.

I think because the power of the F is delivered very smoothly you might not feel like its fast until you look down and realize your already going 110mph lol. I love the 350 too. But the F is a whole different animal in Sport mode, manual and traction control completely off.

I push my friends ISF all day at the drag. It didn't feel much difference from my 350 lol. Not hating but that my experience.

this is pretty damn accurate to what happened when i got my car the first week racing my friends is350, but he had an exhaust.

he kept up to about 30-40 mph, but what does that matter, i prob keep up to a porsche 911 turbo to 40 mph as well, lol

I know the ISF is faster than my is350, I am not saying my is350 is faster. Maybe I was expecting more from it. I didn't like how the power band on it is. I am used to 11 second cars beside my is350. I liked it overal, I am not hating on it. It's a beautiful car, I liked how in handled, brakes, body and int.

"Meh, this doesn't feel that fast."

Look at speedometer.

"Oh, I'm doing 120mph, how'd that happen?"

I like how the one poster is saying that we who own a 350 are comparing it to an ISF; like mitsu owners compare a lancer to a lancer evo. A better comparo would be IS250 to ISF if you want to be accurate with your mitsu comparison.

The "ONLY" reason I would own an ISF is for the front/rear and side and hood treatments. Other than that, I bought my car new in 07 before the ISF was even around, and had no other choice. Also my car has been paid off for 2 years now, so it still works and surprises many makes of vehicles you dont think it would beat at a quick stop light to stop light race. And living here in Florida, since everyone seems to have a nissan in my area, I can put many 350z/370z owners to shame, that puts a smile on my face. Especially when you see their g/f laughing at them at the next stop light. True Story!!!

IS250 0-60 7.9
IS350 0-60 4.9-5.1
ISF 0-60 4.6

Lancer 0-60 8.1
Lancer EVO 0-60 4.5

At best 0.3 seconds 0-60 isn't worth the extra $20k for the car. But like I said earlier I would love the have the body panels from the ISF, but will not be a poser.

lol at the excuses. you guys are making it seem like races are only from 0-30 mph or 0-60 mph. if we are going to compare your best, lets compare the isf's best gears too. lol. cmon, you guys are almost as biased as the M forum now.

Yes, the ISF is faster, I agree, but its not a big enough of a difference.
