Angry Hit and Run :(

Parked my car outside my girlfriends appartment and found my baby like this right before I had to go to class

Apparently Its not letting me upload from my iphone but basically the front bumper Is ripped in half along with the front lip. The left fog light is also ripped out. So now I need a new front bumper and front lip, I was toying with the idea of just upgrading to a IS-F front bumper or to a newer F-Sport bumper. Which would be easier?

I've searched and seen both done, but with not much explanation of any hood or fender modifications required. Also I have the LX mode grill and do not want to part with it.

Damn bro that sucks, I had the same **** happen to me while i was at a Buffalo Wild Wings, some jerk hit me with what looked like a large truck leaving the back of my trunk and tails all shattered in the parking lot.

Get with your insurance and see how much it'll cost to replace everything. Whichever front end you decide to go with, goodluck.

I know, I honestly wouldn't be that mad if they left a note, **** happens. But I hate the fact they are going to get away with it. The car also side swiped the two cars in front of me so a total of 3 cars were damaged, mine just happened to take the brunt of the hit. I'm just happy I had the foresight to keep my stock rims on while at school.

dang, that suck man, I think the 2011 F-sport would look good with the rest of the car, the ISF bumper is look more aggressive if your car on stock body

This is a good point, the 2011 Fsport front end looks super clean compared to the ISF. Regardless goodluck whatever you choose.

yea I would lean towards 2011 f-sport rather than Is-f. My dad owns a body shop and my brother will be writing the estimate so I could easily upgrade with minimal cost. But then I would need to replace both fog lights as well as getting another HID kit. Really just an annoying situation.

btw ohiois350, would you happen to be in Cincinnati? I keep seeing a very nicely modded IS around with blue headlights, fog lights, and the LED strip was blue.

Terrible news. I know if it happened to me I would be very angry.

2011 F-Sport Bumper would be a very nice upgrade. Glad to hear that your dad owns a body shop. Hopefully insurance will take care of you.

Good luck.

Know that feeling. Something similar happened to me very recently. Someone hit my driver's side door in a parking garage. Apparently gonna be about 1500 to fix. :/ I only have to pay my deductible, but still. I shouldn't be paying anything.

Really sad part is it's not even the first time. About five years earlier, someone hit my front bumper in a parking lot, too. Just scraped up the paint, thankfully, but was still $500+ to repair. People really suck sometimes... Although to be fair, it was rainy and windy that day, and I kind of wonder if the person might have left a note, but it got blown away or something.

Anyways, I'm sure everything will turn out alright. I'd go with the F-Sport only if the price difference wasn't very significant.
