Default Need help, PLEASE!!!!

Anyone know where I can find replacement parts for the Navigation Unit on my 2006 IS350 ML? I was disassembling the unit because my touchscreen stopped responding to do the fix. But as I was disassembling it, I accidentally ripped the Flexible Flat Cable which is connected to the back of the touchscreen. The dealer doesn't sell this part by itself, and I am not paying a couple of g's to get a new unit. Can anyone help me out? I know I f'ed up by doing that, I'm really pissed at myself.

Damn! I really don't think they sell that part separately anywhere unfortunately.

I checked the diagram on Sewell too and don't see it being sold separately...

Maybe you can find a member here who replaced their nav unit due to the non-working screen issue and still has the old one laying around and is willing to send you that part?

Yeah, you won't find that part on any website. You either need to find a "junk" unit to use or get an aftermarket unit.

Damn, that was what I was afraid of. Any leads or sources to find a junk unit?

ebay is a good starting point. also check with your local junkyards. you live in CA, so you should have lots of options available to you.
