It doesn't do it by default, one has to set that date in the calendar. I have my sweetie's birthday set to greet her in the RX350 with Happy birthday on that day.

Yes--if you set a memo, and don't clear it, it will keep popping up until you clear it. I used that to remind myself when my warranty was almost up...
