Default Rear view mirror fix for monstrous bass

Yes, this would most definitely be a first world Lexus problem.

My subwoofer vibrates my rear view mirror down every time I have it turned up. Anyone ever find a fix for this?

EDIT: Did just find this thread, but the TSB only covers 06-07.. and my 350 is an 08. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...v006-07-a.html

Many people are probably unaware of this but I will be giving the shop a call soon.

My friend has a taurus sho and his mirror used to vibrate just like ours. There was no tsb or whatsoever but ford sent the car to speedy glass here in canada and they fixed it. They somehow tightened the mirror up using theyre 'mirror' tool. No more shakes when hitting bumps or music is loud.
Mirror is hnging off the windhields just like ours.

Will keep you guys updated if it works.

J, do what I did...

I removed rear view mirror completely and hacked into my OEM rear camera to use it as my rearview mirror. It has a wider visibility then any rear view mirror can offer. I love it.

That's pretty nice. How is it done? Is there a DIY thread?

There's a newer TSIB, mine is an 08 and I've had it done.

The bad news is all 08s by now are beyond the 4 year factory warranty that would cover it, unless it was a leftover first sold well into the 09 model year.

I've heard mixed reports of people getting TSIBs done under extended warranty... certainly worth trying though, as it's like a $900+ part at MSRP.

You wouldn't have a link to the 08+ TSIB, would you?
