Hankook Ventus v12 vs B'Stone RE760 Sport
Can anyone that has used both of these tires share their experiences? My wife's IS350 will need tires in the next 5k miles or so and I wanted to get a head start on exploring options. Right now she is running General Exclaim UHPs, which she has been happy with but it does not look like that tire is being sold any longer.

I have Hankook v12s on my IS250. I live in california, don't any crazy driving, and every weekend I drive to some of the mountains here in SoCal. I use my car everyday and had no problems with it.

You are comparing two tires from different category. The hankooks, they are grippy and rides smooth and quiet. The 760 sports isnt as grippy as the v12's. They cost less, last longer, but long term the ride isnt going to be as smooth and quiet as the v12. If your wife isnt a spirited driver and would like tires that last alot longer Id recomment the re760AS.

I've always been a fan of Kumho tires myself and it looks like the Ecsta placed 3rd in the review above. I've had tons of different brands on sports cars, passenger cars and trucks in my life.. and Kumho has always had by far and wide the lowest ride noise, most comfortable ride and best tread wear of any other brand. I'm planning on running the Ecsta SPT (not tested in that article) in 235/35/19 when I swap fronts here soon.
Before you get too settled on those V12s, you might want to read the reviews and comments in that C&D article. Scroll down. *shudder*
Whatever you do, make sure to shop around. Ebay has some killer deals on tires shipped direct which blows away anything else I can usually find.

Car and Driver actually did that test here at The Tire Rack and having driven on both tires the RE760 will be a quieter tire. I would choose the Bridgestone's first myself.
