Default F sport vs Base model

Anyone know what the difference is between the F sport and the base model is? As far as I know I think only the bumper is different? I looked at an F sport and didn't see F sport accessories installed like the sway bars, intake or exhaust for example..

Are you buying brand new or used. Brand new the F Sport package is not at all worth what they charge for it. Used you could find a good buy.

How is someone unable to use Google or use the search function on a public forum? It's not rude, it's just easily accessible information...

This is a list of Fsport accessory. If you buy the Fsport edition cars, it comes with none of these.

This topic has been covered many times, but off the top of my head, all i can remember is that the Fsport edition models comes with upgraded bumpers and suede inserts in the seats.

I completely agree with this statement. The fsport edition provides you with very little extras. I would rather pocket the money and spend it on real fsport accessories.

The F-Sport factory package does not come with the F-Sport accessories. It'd be nice if it did come with something but you can buy the accessories later on to accessorize your F-Sport package or non-F-Sport IS. Probably cheaper that way too so you can pick what you want on the car.

I got the F-Sport package because it made the car look a lot more sporty/aggressive and it's what drew me in to buy an IS as opposed to other cars I was looking at. Maybe see how much of a deal you can get it for. If you don't care about that stuff, then I wouldn't go F-Sport to save some $.

I copied this from the Lexus.com website:
  • Split-five-spoke alloy wheels with Dark Superchrome finish
  • Sport-tuned suspension and EPS tuning
  • F SPORT front seats, steering wheel, shift **** and front fender badge
  • Microfiber inserts for front and rear seats
  • Heated and ventilated frontseats
  • Aluminum door-sill scuff plates
  • Upper and lower grille inserts
  • Front lip spoiler
  • Aluminum sport pedals
  • Rear spoiler
  • Silver metallic interior trim

I thought they did not include ventilated seats on the Sport due to the microfiber surface? They are only heated as far as I've heard.

To the OP, it's mainly appearnce items on the Sport. You can see all at Lexus's website.

Hmm, I think you're right. Maybe the website is wrong. My F-Sport package IS only had heated, not air-conditioned.
