Default New Tires - Help!

I just hit 61k on my '10 IS350 and need a set of new tires...yesterday. I want something good that will last me until 100k ish, all season, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for them....anyone have any recommendations on a good, lesser-known brand that might save me a few $ in the process?

Mine came with Bridgestones from the dealership and they want upwards of $300 for the rears and $250 for the front. Eh.

Dont cheap out on tires.

I personally have been using all season Falken R42s? I cant remember the exact model number off the top of my head. I had them on my 18s for a good 10k miles and now my 20s for about 3k miles with no issues.

Way better than the stock turanzas that my car came with

Definitely don't want to cheap out on tires, I'm just looking for something different that is equally good (or better) than what I have at a different price point - if that even exists.

I'll check out the Falkens and the list on tirerack. Thanks for the help!

I see your in NJ so it may not apply to you, but a lot of members also like the Hankook Ventus V12. They are summer tires tho.

Just wanted to give you more options

I have Continental DWS. The price is fair as well.

Check out your local Costco if you have one. Michelin's and Bridgestones for your Lex. Good tire at a good price.

If you have a RWD...Just make sure you buy a tire that is asymmetrical, this way you can flip your staggered tires side to side. This will help feathering and make them last longer. I'm VERY happy with my Conti DW tires. I live in NC and don't need a snow tire. For your part of the country the Conti DWS is a good tire. DWS has a 40k warranty.

If you have AWD....you can run asymmetrical or directional because you can rotate front to back.

Hankook Ventus V12 won't last very long and they get really noisy when they get wear on them.

I would recommend the Kumho Ecsta 4X as they're some of the longest lasting, quietest tires that I've ever seen and work really well all season. $117/ea on Tire Rack for the fronts.

OP is interested in All Season.

Go with Continental DWS. Mine lasted me ~70k, which was 70% highway. Extremely quiet, decent in the snow and decent handling. Any all season will be average in every condition...but DWS does a good job making no season terrible.

They were reasonably priced in my opinion. Anything under a grand mounted and balanced is decent to me...especially with 18" staggered. gotta pay to play

I wouldn't cheap out on the tires either. I have had both Nitto's and Hankook's V12 and both have been great.
