Default Anyone else experience this minor thing?

When in "manual mode" in my IS 350 AWD, when i shift with the stick up and down it's much more responsive than if i was to use the paddles on the steering wheel. Seems like the paddles take like an extra 0.5 seconds to shift or something.... just thought it was strange.

Anyone else notice this?

Not myself, I use the stick to shift all the time, I will play with the paddles and see if I can get an idea. I am in a IS350 RWD tho

that is because on the IS250/350 we have shift limiters.

do a quick search and you'll get the answers you're looking for.

good luck!

Well yea i know our cars are just limiters... but my question was anyone experiencing the difference in responsiveness compared from using the stick and paddles. I get a noticeable delay when using paddles

I understand your question. For me, the shifting response time is the same be it paddle or gear lever.
