Default Alarm/Lock not working

Hey guys, I'm just wondering do you guys have any problems with the is250's remotes or alarm/lock system failing on you guys? Lately my remote has not been working, I have to stand there for a good 5 minutes either pressing the lock button on the car and on the remote till it decides to respond or sometimes I give up and just manually use the key to lock it. I've changed the battery on the remote about 3 months ago and I ruled out that the battery is dead and I even changed to a new battery just to be sure.

Does the system just break down after a while or sensor thing in the car or could it possibly be the remote wearing? I have a 2007 is250.

Thanks in advance.

you could try resetting everything by disconnecting the car battery for about 5-10 minutes. After reconnecting the car battery hold your electronic key about 0.4 inches away from the push button start and wait for the beep which indicates that the car recognizes the electronic key.

Question: does this happen with one electronic key or all the electronic keys?

I don't think that it's the motors fault, its just unresponsive to when I press the lock/unlock button on my remote or door handle, but using the actual key and manually twist and locking it has no problem.

So I think it's either the remote crapping out or the receiver in the car. Does anyone know which is more likely? Because I don't really hear about the receiver or key crapping out that easily, more of the lock motors, but those are perfectly fine.
