^^^ LOL...

Agree... there are plenty of 2IS consumption of OEM parts out there. No reason for Lexus to cut the price anytime soon.

Unless they discontinue the part and then try to clear out their old stock, very doubtful. Also that isn't likely to happen for a year or two after the new model comes out, typically.

It'd be nice to get the F-Sport Exhaust. It's so expensive right now.

No way...they're out to make a profit. You want what they have and it's exclusive. Like Jeff said above, unless they're discontinuing and want to clear the shelves. Your best bet is Sewell Lexus or classifieds used.

Lexus just going to making them less and less once the 3IS comes out, eventually phase them out entirely, but definitely not lowering the prices. i can see the prices in used market going down since the demand for the old 2IS parts will likely be smaller.

Also what I said before only applies to accessory parts like the F-Sport Accessories, OEM factory parts will usually stay the same or go up as a model gets older.

When cars are new, parts are expensive. As long as those parts are in demand, they will remain expensive. Once a part is discontinued (as others have mentioned) the price will be reduced, but mind you that there is a small window where parts soon become scarce and therefore become more expensive once again. A viscous cycle for sure.....
