Any IS (XE20) out there that have aftermarket wheels (preferably 18's) that are riding on stock suspension?
I"m currently running the stock 17x8's that came with the car. Why 18's you may ask? Well, tires for 19's and 20's are an arm and a leg and anything higher than 18 would probably make the car look like I'm 4x4n'. The car is a daily driver and I'm trying really hard not to lower it as Im waaay to tired of having to maneuver whenever I encounter a dip or a speed bump. My last lowered car was a Honda Prelude slammed 2.5 inches on Neuspeed's.... nuff said.
So I;m aiming at a set of rims that are 18x8 / 18X9 with an offset of about +35 and will most likely run the stock tire size (225/40 & 255/40/18) so the rear doesn't look beefy, if you know what I mean.
OR, should I just wait and just lower the IS on F-Sports or Pro-Kit.
Any suggestions from any one with ideas are welcome.
Thank You

I didn't think all IS350's came with 18's stock. I have a 2011 IS350 AWD and I'm pretty sure they're 17's. Will double-check when I get off of work.

Hey Guys. So sorry. Been on vacation and now finally got back to your replies. Thank you to those who posted pics of their IS with aftermarket wheels on stock suspension. I couldn't find any online so I had something to refer to as far as how much gap is in between the fenders with owners with 18's on. Plus I've noticed that the gap on my car is lower than some of the others. Could this be that they have a AWD model?
In addition to all of this, I wanted to see if someone bought rims that had a 1.5+ inch Lip in the rear on a stock height ride. I wanted to see if it looked, Foolish and or too beefy in the back. Of course tires size is another factor, but I figured keeping everything stock size (225/40 & 255/40) would be okay.

You're totally right. LOL I was thinking the same thing. I figured 18's is less baller u know. Unless I get a really sweet deal on some Work VS-XX wheels or BBS LM's

Correct, stock AWD wheel gap is bigger then stock RWD. Most with AWD go for a conservative drop as slamming it eliminated the purpose of being able to get through snow to a certain extent. 18's with a minor drop looks good if its OEM type wheels
