Long story short after 2 minor accidents, my front bumper is in need of a replacement
I have a 2009, so most of you know how hard it is to find a decent lip for it
Also I'm just not digging the 2011+ look, as the F-Sport add-on on the sides look a little odd to me

Therefore, I'm thinking of swapping to a 2008 front bumper instead
I've always loved the INGS+1 kit, but they don't make one for 2009, so this is my chance

My question is that aside from the bumper replacement, what else do I need to replace?
I know the upper grille and grille surround need to be replaced.
But what about the lower grille? And the foglights? Are they interchangeable?

Lol, I'm doing a conversion but from my 07 to 09-10 bumper, opposite of you.

You'll have to get a new grille surround, grille insert, lower grille, bumper of course, and the covers next to the foglights. The foglights are the same up to 11. I think the brackets under the headlights and on the fenders are the same. Fender liners should be the same too.

 

for the price of new grills you could probably pay a body shop to modify an INGs to fit an 09 bumper. I know a fellow CL member has done this before.

Thanks, that link is very helpful. I'm going to ask around a bodyshop to see. Any idea if Boshi's kit is PU or FG?
